Personally, I hope Angelina drops some serious coin on her dress. I am certain, that the design guru's would salivate at the chance to make Angelina up!!!!!! Royal Mail lost parcel complaint

I completed all the paperwork and put in a claim to Royal Mail for a parcel which never arrived. They then wrote to me 24 days after the parcel should have been delivered to tell me that I should allow sufficient time for the parcel to arrive and contact them 14 days after the due date!

On top of that they had a contact number which after pressing various number options and listening to messages for 5 minutes only gave me details of how to obtain the form I'd already completed!

What a complete waste of my time.

E.ON electricity direct debit account credit problem complaint - my father is supplied electricity in his flat by E.ON. He pays a fixed amount by direct debit each month. His most recent statement showed him to be in credit to the tune of 142.36...how long would they have left it if I hadn't asked for it to be returned to him?

O2 had a bug in the software on their iphones which meant that if you used them abroad for emails or surfing the bills were horrendous. My husband called them about his 1,200 bill after using his phone on holiday, and guess what, they refunded the whole lot!! Would they have done that if he hadn't called them? If the bill had been say 200, I guess he would have grumbled and paid up. How many customers have paid and not complained?
This was a known bug, so why could they not have texted everyone?

Several high profile authors are to stop visiting schools in response to them now needing to be 'vetted' (at a cost to themselves of 64)

So now the Government will assume that your are a potential paedophile unless you can prove to the contrary! What sort of Country are we becoming?

These authors (and other artists) are providing a wonderful opportunity to inspire children, often at no cost to the school, and the schools cannot invite them unless they have a document to prove that the children will be safe!

Don't forget that when visitors come to the schools to talk to kids there are always 1 or more teachers around so what nonsense is this?

This is all down to the one incident (admittedly tragic) with Ian Huntly in 2002. A whole raft of legislation which I'm sure any determined paedophile could get around quite easily anyway.

Why do idiotic parents allow their children to run riot in public places. Am sick of kids running around shops and touching everything in sight. Worst is people that let their little horrors behave so badly in restaurants and think that there is nothing wrong with that.
It is not fair to other diners and to staff.

Just got back from the bank...grrrrrr. Two cashiers on duty at lunchtime, one with OCD and the other who speaks so quietly it wouldn't even register on a decibel meter. Sack 'em all and put some chimps in there!
